So I would like to apologize in advance to everyone and anyone who has tried to like...contact me via dA in the past ffff.....10 months or so?
I've been kinda AWOL. Kinda really.
So, my inbox has a million and a half messages (not really, but close enough), so if you start getting responses to things that were sent/posted/commented back in DECEMBER, don't be alarmed.
Sorry. Life's been explodey, and I'm working on keeping it together.
Maaaybe in the near(ish) future, I'll be caught up and posting the stuff that I'm working on. Hopefully.

That moment when . . .
So I'd like to open up for commissions, but then I realized that I haven't really posted and/or scanned in anything of significance in a couple years. Which means all my "example" pieces are horribly outdated.
And nobody really wants to see a pile of gesture drawings and similar practice sketches, haha.
So I guess the question is, do I just list prices with outdated examples, or do I sit down and churn out something?
Actually, now that I type that out, the answer is fairly obvious.
If I'm an "artist", then I ought to have an updated portfolio on hand. Duh.

It's that time of year again. The no-school time. Where I actually log in to my dA account.

I have like 5 billion things that need to be uploaded. I haven't posted crap since The Sketchbook Project 2011 and I finished my submission for that like....17 months ago? Yeah. I've done the 2012 Sketchbook Project plus a pile of paintings since.
Whoops.
Summer is going to be craaaaaaazy packed as always because I apparently don't understand the necessity for free time. But whatever.
Point is, I'll be updating. Maybe. Or at least cleaning out my dA inbox that goes back to May 26, 2011. Eurgh.

Once upon a time . . .
there was a Courtney. Courtney didn't log onto her deviantART account for 5-6 months.
Courtney was kidnapped by the Evil School Monster, but she kicked and screamed and even cried a bit, and eventually the Evil School Monster sighed a deep sigh and said "FINE. TAKE A MONTH OFF. BUT YOU'D BETTER COME BACK AT THE END OF JANUARY OR I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN AND GET YOU MYSELF." The Evil School Monster talks in all capital letters because he is a monster and has a loud rumbly voice. Courtney smiled and gave the Evil School Monster a hug (which made the Evil School Monster smile until he remembered that he was an Evil School Monster and was not allowed

Anyhow, I FINALLY uploaded a video for my submission for Art House Co-op's Sketchbook Project. It can be viewed here.
I'll start uploading some of the individual pages gradually, so as not to dump a crap ton of deviations on you guys all at once.
In other news:
I've been struggling quite a bit financially, due to life-drama, so I'll probably be putting together a more updated commissions info journal in the not-so-distant future. I haven't gotten any takers (LOL), but it can't hurt to have it out there. :)
